My favourite floral creation to make for weddings is arbour garlands & installations!

I enjoy the freedom of this creative process & love that fact my brides trust me with this exercise & trust my expertise.  I love to incorporate the Bride & Grooms vision and encourage their requests – such as this arbour @ Riverstone Estate, in Coldstream – with the additional of these deer antlers.  These deer antlers were the Grooms contribution to this ceremony, as he enjoys this sporting activity – I think they look amazing addition just another dimension to this arbour.  Alongside the bride’s floral choice which was guided by us @ Wandin Florist for the best design, flower variety, colour pallet, focal point & position of arbour @ the venue.

Backdrops such as this @ Riverstone Estate’s Venue, lend to great photographic opportunities leaving long lasting memories and great pictures that adorn the new marital home & your family’s home and walls.

This arbour is probably one of my favourites to date because of the use of these antler – when planning your wedding think outside the square – we as florists love nothing better than to figure out how we will make your vision a reality, the challenge is always welcomed

The florals that are incorporated in this arbour are – white veronica, apricot, pink & white roses, pastel pink disc buds, white lisianthus, burgundy dahlias & seasonal foliage of oak, peppercorn, gum & viburnum. Making this a great selection of seasonal flowers to compliment the bride & bridesmaid’s bouquets

The backdrop @ this Riverstone Estate venue in Coldstream is amazing even though it was overcast & extremely windy this day, never let the weather change your plans, as one minute it will be raining & the next the sun will come out.

We as florists work in all conditions and are happy to do so!  If the weather forces you to Plan B – the arbour can always be moved on a deck, inside or undercover @ your venue.

No matter what time of year you are getting married – always have a plan B, ask your venue can the arbour be moved, who will move it and/or do you need to find someone to move it.  Never leave decisions like this up to the venue ensure your have a firm plan A & plan B in place.  This will ensure no matter what happens on your wedding day you will be comfortable with the decision you have already made, leaving you to enjoy the process of getting marred & having a great time.

When discussing your wedding flower requirements with your florist let us guide you –your wedding pictures will be in every wedding photo you have forever – barrel arrangements next to this arbour would be ideal if budget allows.
